Fort William
The Alipore Zoo, which was established in 1876 and is a significant tourist destination in Kolkata, West Bengal. It is India's oldest zoological park. The Royal Bengal Tiger, Indian Elephant, Great Indian One-horned Rhinoceros, White Tiger, Grant's Zebra, Antelope, Deer, and other creatures call it home. At the same time, the zoo is home to a variety of interesting birds such as Macaws and Lorikeets, as well as colourful and flamboyant birds such as Swinhoe's Pheasant, Lady Amherst's Pheasant, and Golden Pheasant, as well as huge birds such as Ostrich, Emu, and Hornbills. During the winter, migrating birds such as the Sarus Crane may be seen at the Alipore Zoo.
The British East India Company built the massive fort, which was later on, restored by Sirj al-Dawlah, Nawab of Bengal, and tells us a lot about India's history. Built on the eastern bank of the Hooghly River, the fort now serves as the headquarters of the Indian Army's Eastern Command wing. The fort, named after King Willim III, is located in front of Maidan, the city's largest park. To visit Fort William, you'll need a special authorization from the Commanding Officer. It is without a doubt one of Kolkata's most historically significant locations.

Nakhoda Mosque
The Nakhoda Mosque, one of Kolkata's biggest mosques and a spiritual centre for Muslims, is the city's most visited tourist attraction. The prayer hall can hold up to 10,000 worshippers. The mosque's domes and minarets are built in the same style as Fatehpur Sikri's. It is a popular tourist destination in Kolkata since it is one of the city's sacred locations.
Science City
The science city is a wonderful combination of education and entertainment. The Scientific City, the first of its type in India, is one of the world's best and largest science museums, providing an entertaining approach for people to learn about science. It was established in July 1, 1997, and has become a popular tourism attraction for both locals and visitors to Kolkata. There is also a section dedicated to water animals. A full overview of the many fishes and insects found in the aquatic realm may be found in this section. These aquariums house a variety of unusual and rare fish. The scientific city's ground level contains various optical illusions that are really entertaining to look at. The energy ball, tornadoes, ocean waves, and quicksand are all must-sees. The Time Machine is a popular choice among all the kids.
Dakshineswar Kali Temple
In 1855, a philanthropist named Rani Rashmoni built the temple of Bhavatarini, a manifestation of goddess Kali, who is said to "liberate her followers from the ocean of life." The magnificent temple complex, built in the traditional Bengali Nava-Ratna style, is a renowned pilgrimage destination for Hindu pilgrims. The Hindu saint Ramakrishna Paramahansa used to live on the peaceful eastern bank of the Hooghly River, and this temple was formerly his home. It is one of Kolkata's most well-known temples.
